Kinder Scout Pilgrimage

What a fantastic day we had on Sunday at our Mastery Path pilgrimage to Kinder Scout with members of the Aetherius Society, some of whom had travelled from London and Glasgow to attend.  The weather was glorious and it was so lovely having the opportunity to talk with each other whilst walking through the beautiful countryside.  Two services were held – one part way up and another on the summit by the rocks.  We chanted mantras whilst the 12 Blessings and other prayers were recited.  We sent loving healing energy to Mother Earth and to the world as a group, then had time afterwards to send healing energy to people we know.  We had plenty of time to explore the area and I loved sitting on the rocks, meditating and feeling the powerful energies of the holy mountain.

We had 68 pilgrims attending the four Services, with 2 in the car park; 4 by the stream; 15 at the Adepts’ Wall and 47 on top.

There’s a lovely campsite close by which was fully booked over the bank holiday weekend and I’d love to stay there for a few days next time I return to this beautiful part of the world.

A lovely synchronicity happened when I returned  – On BBC1, Countryfile were doing a programme about Kinder Scout and the 80th anniversary of the Mass Trespass by ramblers which took place as a protest to keep the land open for walkers to enjoy, and which led to legislation in 1949 to establish the National Parks and walkers’ rights over open country and common land in 2000.  It was lovely seeing all the places we’d just been!

Special Energies at this time
Sunday was a special holy day for Buddhists who celebrate Wesak – the holiest time of the year which celebrates the birth, enlightenment, and in some traditions, death of Buddha.  The full ‘Super Moon’ on Sunday was incredible – it’s the closest it’s been to the earth for 100 years. Take time to send healing energy to the world and to your loved ones … the energy is amplified significantly at the moment.  If you’d like to know more about energy healing, Mollie Entwisle is running a one day course on 2 June, full details below.
