Why is laughter so important for us – for health, happiness, managing stress and building communities? And why do many people inhibit their laughter and the laughter of others? I shall talk about the meaning of laughter, and how and why we can use laughter to help manage and control feeling of stress and deal with difficulties. We shall also do some laughter exercises and see how we can bring more laughter into our communities!
A reminder and deeper understanding of what laughter means and why it is perhaps ‘the best medicine’.

– Ideas and maybe action plan for how we can bring laughter into our communities.
Robin is a Laughter Consultant, Art of Living teacher, and writer, and is currently working on an MA in health and happiness awareness. He has been leading laughter workshops since 1998, co-Founded the UK Laughter Network in 2004 (www.laughternetwork.co.uk ) and the World Laughter Pledge in 2008 ( www.worldlaughterpledge.org ). He has piloted ‘Laughter On Prescription’, ran a short laughter session for 30,000 people in Ethiopia, and set up the world’s first festival dedicated to laughter (not comedy) in June 2012.
